I’m the president of the Waukee Area Arts Council and I would like to tell you about a group we have coming on Saturday, April 24 at 7 pm. The Beggarmen are an Iowa City-based quartet of traditional Celtic musicians comprised of Brad Pouleson, Keith Reins, and Joseph and Tara Dutcher.

The band find their roots in the traditional music of Ireland and other Celtic regions. The Beggarmen supplement the rich variety of traditional tunes with their own original music.
